Short Courses 2014

The Aquatic Toxicity Workshop (ATW) Organizing Committee invites scientists and professionals from academia, government and the private sector to propose short courses as part of the 41st Annual ATW scheduled for September 28, 2014 in Ottawa.

Short courses are occasions for the attendees of the ATW to keep up with new developments in their field of practice or to develop new skills. Since the needs and interests of participants are varied, the training sessions can address a wide array of subjects such as; emerging scientific fields, professional skill development, policy, and practical training sessions. Short courses are to be held in the Ottawa Convention Centre on Sunday September 28, 2014. Short courses for the 41st ATW should be full day courses.  If you have material developed for a half day course,  please contact the organizing committee to discuss further.

Short course proposals should be forwarded to Lisa Taylor (Lisa.Taylor@ec.gc.ca), Melissa Desforges (Melissa.Desforges@nrcan-rncan.gc.ca) or Paula Siwik (paula.siwik@gmail.com) by April 24, 2014.
