The Aquatic Toxicity Workshop (ATW)
ATW is Canada’s major annual meeting in the field of aquatic toxicology and related disciplines. It provides the opportunity to share information on current and emerging topics of regional, national and international importance related to water and sediment quality. Participants include students, academics, government scientists and regulators, environmental consultants and industry representatives.
Evolving Science In Changing Times
The 41st annual ATW will be held at the Ottawa Convention Centre in Ottawa Ontario from September 28 to October 1, 2014. Click here for more information.
Registration for ATW 2014 is now open!
Late Poster Submissions
We still have space available for poster presentations. Please indicate which session you are interested in, and contact Sherri Macleod (Sherri.Macleod@ec.gc.ca) with your request. Sooner is better than later, as space is limited.
Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation
Before the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) comes into effect on July 1, 2014, ATW’s Board of Directors is requesting your express consent to continue to receive emails from ATW. On June 19, we sent individual emails requesting that you update your profile to officially provide consent but, ironically, several of you replied with concerns that these emails looked like spam! If you still have the email from June 19, please click the “update profile” link it contains to provide consent to continue receiving emails that promote ATW. Alternatively, you may send a note to email@example.com with your name/email address and the following phrase: “You have my express consent to continue sending commercial electronic messages related to the Aquatic Toxicity Workshop to this email account”. In addition, you will have the opportunity to check a box to provide consent through the ATW 2014 registration process. If you do not take one of these steps, we will no longer be able to send you emails effective July 1.
If you have not yet subscribed to the ATW mailing list, you may do so by visiting this link.
Thank you for your cooperation!
